Bucket List Therapy

MY GOALS

My personal bucket list

This is a list of goals I’ve worked on, some I’m currently working on, and others I hope to tackle in the future. I’ve added little notes to some of them... maybe they’ll inspire you to try something similar!

Run a half-marathon (in progress)

A disproportionate part of my self-esteem comes from running. Not because I’m fast - I'm not -, but because there's something empowering about seeing the hills I’ve passed, relying only on my own body. It gives me peace of mind.

Change my name - oficially (finished)

I don’t like my first name. Choosing a new one felt important, not just because I wanted to be called something I actually like, but also because it carried a kind of spiritual weight for me.
I’m not saying you need to change your name just for the sake of it, but for me, it felt like reclaiming my identity and fully stepping into who I am.
Also, our local registry office did it for free, which was a nice.

My tips:

Create a personal blog (finished)

It’s probably not something I would’ve come up with if I didn’t already have some experience with coding and programming. But here I am, enjoying it.

Make my own tarot deck (in progress)

I love tarot. Don't get me wrong, I'm not into fortune-telling. For me, tarot is all about introspection and looking at situations from new angles. It pushes you to ask good questions and connect deeply with the 78 archetypes the cards represent. (Not gonna lie, I also just love the vibes.)

Aside from the idea of having my own artistic deck, I have to admit it’s been a real challenge. Creating 78 drawings is no small task, and it’s definitely pushed me to get creative and keep practicing.

My tips:

Updates:

Write a book (in progress)

This is a goal where my perfectionism really gets in the way.

Sew a piece of clothing

So far, I’ve only made a few tote bags and experimented a bit. My plan is to start with sewing an oversized shirt from some nice fabric.

Become a polyglot (in progress)

I gotta admit, this is a relic from my childhood. I used to admire anyone who spoke six or more languages, and I wanted to be like them.

Right now, I speak two foreign languages at a level I’m happy with (English and Russian). But I’d love to reach at least an intermediate level in German, Polish, and one more language.

My tips:

Make a piece of pottery

Draw a comics

Knit a sweater

Make my own book of shadows

Make a song

Dark therapy

Join a tea workshop
